Update Masking Policy

Masking is no longer mandatory in our clinical setting. Our staff/health care practitioners may or may not be wearing a mask. We strongly recommend wearing a mask should you be experiencing any signs and symptoms of a cold or flu.

Should you prefer your health care practitioner to wear a mask during your appointment, please let your practitioner know and they will put a mask on. Your comfort is our top priority!

We respect our patient’s right to choose if they wish to wear a mask or not.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing ReBalance Health Group to participate in your healthcare. We look forward to providing you with personalized, comprehensive healthcare focusing on wellness and prevention.

As always, we strive to empower our patients to take control of their ailment, restore function, and re-balance their health. Pelvic health physiotherapy is a branch of physiotherapy which focuses on the assessment and treatment of the muscles, ligaments, nerves, joints and connective tissue of the pelvis and surrounding area. The pelvic floor plays an important role in the body to assist with bladder, bowel and sexual function as well as supporting the low back and hips. When the pelvic floor tissues are not functioning properly, we can experience pelvic pain, incontinence, urinary issues, sexual dysfunction and the list goes on. Our pelvic health physiotherapists treat pelvic health issues for all genders.

The comprehensive assessment may include an internal and external examinations of the pelvic floor to help identify the multiple factors that may be contributing to your pelvic floor dysfunction.

Pelvic health physiotherapy can only be performed by a trained registered physiotherapist who has undergone additional post-graduate education in pelvic health physiotherapy.

Chiropractic is a non-invasive, hands-on health care discipline that focuses on the musculoskeletal system. Chiropractors practice a manual approach, providing diagnosis, treatment and preventive care for disorders related to the spine, pelvis, muscles, nervous system and joints.

Chiropractors use a combination of treatments, all of which are predicated on the specific needs of the individual patient. After taking a complete history and diagnosing a patient, a chiropractor can develop and carry out a comprehensive treatment/management plan, recommend therapeutic exercise and other non-invasive therapies, and provide nutritional, dietary and lifestyle counseling.

Our chiropractors utilize the top available scientific literature to determine the best treatment plan and/or appropriate referrals. Treatments will include a combination of one or more of the following: soft tissue therapy, joint mobilization/manipulation, medical acupuncture, functional dry needling, exercise therapy, yoga therapy, and education.
